Elisabetta Franchi RTW Fall 2017

Elisabetta Franchi RTW Fall 2017

Elisabetta Franchi RTW Fall 2017 collection was a hyper-feminine, throwback homage to Evita Perón.

At the Milan Fashion Week Elisabetta Franchi introduced her new collection Autumn/Winter 2017– 2018 in an evocative atmosphere, almost surreal. You’ve seen already pictures from the show on my Facebook and Instagram account.

I can’t explain in words the feeling you have when you walk into a tent filled with more than 1,000 people and you recognize so many stars like Coco Rocha and Anna Cleveland, who walked in Elisabetta Franchi’s fall show. Or Mariano di Vaio and Anna dello Russo! Her front row was filled with Italian TV types and a whole lot of other people.

Can you imagine I had the chance to take a selfie with the one and only Gianluca Vacchi, the star of the Internet?

However, Elisabetta Franchi can draw a crowd with her amazing power, just as her fall muse Eva Perón could. The entire collection was an homage to Evita Perón, a style icon and symbol of independence for strong women, very conscious but who doesn’t renounce their femininity in any way.

The parade of Elisabetta Franchi RTW Fall 2017, had a strong oriental, chic imprint. The collection consists of a mix & match of masculine and super feminine lines, playing with different print combinations.

The collection was a hyper-feminine ode to throwback glamour. There were high-waisted pants and embroidered blouses; a pajama/smoking jacket jumpsuit with a fur collar; embroidered tie-neck blouses with tight pencil skirts under glammed-up furs; lots of hats, leather opera gloves, and fur stoles. The collection plays with contrasts and strong color combinations in a blend of patterns and hues. Also, to mark the launch of the new line “EF La mia Bambina”, the iconic pieces of the collection were presented on the catwalk in petite versions.

Confident and determined, the Elisabetta Franchi’s RTW Fall 2017 woman walks on dizzying stilettos to the rhythm of an Argentine beat through the streets of a bustling Paris at the end of 1940’s.

In my opinion, this is a wonderful collection and an amazing fashion show.

What do you think ? Do you like it?

That I’m as quick tempered as a storm, and fiery as fire can get is no surprise for the people who knows me!  So there is really no wow factor to the fact that I feel at my hottest when draped in red.

Yeah, yeah I know, what a cliche. But when I’m wearing a red daring dress like the one in this post I’m again walking as I’m singing “I’m a grown woman, I can do whatever I want.”

I’ve been dying to wear this dress and let me just say that was totally worth it for Milan Fashion Week. It’s a see-through dress that is insanely sexy AND comfortable (yes, that is possible), it’s perfect for more va-va-voom occasions when you want to make a statement.

Bandage dresses are the new IT dresses of our time, and we’re thankful for this to mostly the Kardashians, they’ve been wearing them all year round. So I gave it a try and I’m sticking with it.

My red dress is from www.thevivienne.ro – an online shop with all the sexy thangs you may need, but also with TONS of fashion dresses that suit every situation when you wanna turn heads. They have evening dresses, peplum, midi, bandage – anything you love they have it.

Being midi makes it appropriate for so many occasions. Don’t be fooled by the transparency, if you take a bodysuit under it, your skin it will be hardly visible. All in all the dress is fabulous. It delivers on the WOW, it delivers on the comfort, and it’s so much more than one dress. It’s a statement!
