DENIM on Denim Trend

If there’s a trend I will wear a lot more in the coming spring months is denim on denim.

Denim on denim trend is having a huge moment right now. I’ve seen absolutely everyone wearing the denim on denim trend. Bags, shoes, boots, jeans, hats, and jackets, you name it, are made with denim these days. The first thing that probably comes to your mind when thinking of a double denim look is a big no, but if the pieces are well chosen, then the outfit can be a total success.

How to pull off the denim on denim trend?

The answer is simple, by picking two denim pieces in different shades of blue or whatever you like best. If you stick to this trick, then your outfit will look really good. Today I mixed my LiuJo shirt with Swarovski embellishments with a pair of flared jeans and a beige trench (similar pairs here and here). I have added a pop of color to this denim on denim look by wearing a red LiuJo bag (shop similar here). Also. I’m wearing Guess sandals which unfortunately cannot be seen because of the length of my jeans!

What do you think? Did you try this trend yet?

Here are some photos I shot last week sporting Denim on denim trend with a classic Guess trench coat.  You can still get it too from I’m calling it a “hero” as it’s one of those pieces that can be layered over anything (think jeans, dresses, over-knee boots, sneakers, literally anything) and sported all year round. You can wear it slightly off the shoulders for a Balenciaga inspired look (you know, me being a fashion victim, and all).

If you’re looking for a jacket to invest right now you should opt for something like this, simply because every wardrobe needs a classic trench. Trust me, once you wear it you’ll start wondering how you ever lived without it. It looks incredibly chic and classy. And when you match a beige trench coat with denim on denim you’ll bring a street-style-worth outfit.

Nothing works better with every style and outfit other than denim. Not a jean person? (If that’s even possible) fear not. There’s nothing sexier than a beautiful woman in a denim’s shirt. So, buy one and pair it with flared or cropped jeans. It’s just the easiest, most versatile thing you can wear.

For spring 2017, denim on denim trend is definitely in!

The denim on denim is a statement look which I think am currently obsessed with and can be pulled off by anyone. Just try it! Till my next post, stay fabulous.
