Delicate Shearling Feeling

Delicate Shearling means that I’ll wrap up to stay warm. The unusually low morning temperatures this week are not preferable for fashion.

This period of transition between seasons always confuses me! I feel like I am left behind. I can only think of the season which is ending and I stubbornly deny to accept what is coming next.

Today I relinquish my soul to autumn in a Delicate Shearling.

Shearling made its comeback for Winter 2014 as this season’s must-have piece and dominates almost all the runways. Nothing protects you from a relentless polar vortex. The truly wintery trend was shown in cuddly, soft silhouettes, with an ethnic vibe at Burberry or pop feel at Prada. It’s interesting to see how many designers chose to work in this skin over more traditional furs and leathers. From coloured to classic or just a trim, shearling was used in an extraordinary number of fall collections this year.

Presented on vests, bomber jackets, collars and even booties, shearling has proved to be the most essential of cold-weather necessities. Shearling is a sheepskin pelt that goes through little trimming. It’s much lighter than the traditional fur coat and has the same great look.

Delicate Shearling is popping up everywhere.

World of fashion went crazy over chic, gorgeous and what is more important practical. Not surprising because it’s not only warm and comfortable, it also matches every outfit – even a cocktail dress!

Today I’m diving into this delicate shearling coat of mine. This feeling of abandonment made me compare myself to a leaf falling off a tree in a delicate sway, eager to touch the ground. I felt free, so sentimental, introspective, nervous, confused, even sad. Could afford the luxury, couldn’t I? Only my long scarf in punchy patterns injected vivacity and gave balance to my constant diaphanous line. Eventually, content to touch autumn!

In harmony with deep delicate feelings: grey delicate silk dress, sweet coat and belt, delicate scarf, these bits of an obsession with regards to a look in a numb autumn after-noon. How many times have I used the word “autumn” so far? Three times…I sill need a mirror image of this three to make a sleepy eight and turn to the ∞ frequency. It’s ok…It’s here…

And you? Everything normal?

„Delicate like rain…and delicate like you and shearling”
