Today’s post is about my outfit for the dazzling Aigner Reset FW17 fashion show. I’m going to show you some insights and my favorite looks from their new collection. Milan has been amazing like always. The runways were dazzling, especially Aigner Munich show, and the city even more.
Let’s talk first about my super amazing sequinned dress from Ylana Shop. I mean, is there any more perfect silver dress that you can imagine? I doubt it! My go-to outfit that day had a simple formula: a bomber jacket, a dress and over knee boots. The idea was to lighten up the look whilst walking. I really love this dazzling looks. During fashion week it’s very easy to get carried away and make yourself dressing fancier than usual to impress the street style scene. Yep, it has happened to me every time.
But who wouldn’t want to spot themselves in the street style pages of Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar next to the likes of Christine Centenera? Come on, don’t lie.
While fashion week has us all in a mad frenzy dashing from one location to the other, I haven’t forgotten to sit back and enjoy Milan for all the pasta, burrata and sightseeing it has to offer.
Kick off that afternoon with a coffee near the Duomo, pricier than most, but is worthing every single buck when you check out the complete and unobstructed view of the Duomo. Pamper yourself with burrata to traditional spaghetti as you take in the magnificent architecture and the neighboring Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Or, if you’re feeling a little fancy, ask for that famous Gelato Italiano. I love it.
You’re on holiday, so why not?
Belly now satiated, head to the Duomo for some sight-seeing – if the queue permits – and Instagram the daylights out of the place when you hit the rooftop. Breathtaking doesn’t even cut it. When you’re done get some shopping done at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the oldest shopping malls in the world with old-world architecture to spare. I haven’t done it during fashion week because I never had enough time.
Finally, go for dinner at Al Pont de Ferr. If the night’s still young for you, catch an opera show at Teatro alla Scala or just enjoy the city.
Until then let’s talk about Aigner Reset FW17 fashion show and discover the looks!
Aigner is heading to its new season with a gentle and muted approach compared with last Spring/Summer where colors were so vivid. The brand concentrates on Earth tones this time. Brown, orange, black and navy green – what else do you need? Sustainability, consciousness and a certain awareness towards the supply chain become an expected standard. Considering this trend, designs are timeless but modern and up to date.
Present is defined by using influences of the past such as classical shapes and cuts, traditional craftsmanship, and natural materials such as wool or felt, juxtaposed to very forward elements such as advanced craftsmanship, laser-cuts, neoprene and recycled materials. This season’s rule is not to follow only one stream within one product.
The result is a very balanced collection which perfectly combines old and new, maintaining the AIGNER DNA but catching current movements. The collection has a chic, stylish, military, strong appeal in both soft and dark shades with highlights in color or material. Peaks are set by modern and innovative materials and finishes. This is how metallic, reflective fabrics or finishes give the collection a fancy twist and give a link to luxury casual sportswear.
As far as the colors are concerned, two are the main features. the first one proposes natural shades such as taupe, cashmere beige and rose with spots of brick red. The second one includes darker shades as olive green, deep blue and tough concrete gray.
The leather collection perfectly matches this “Reset” theme. Speaking of the Aigner bags, they are the most important fashion accessories of this and the upcoming season. A few special models have studs, bag chains and of course: straps, straps, and straps!
Four different forms of shoes were showcased: flat booties with pointed front, half-length heeled boots and V-decollete pumps in smooth leather and studs at the frames. Jewelry includes leather chokers and necklaces with charms together with long chains earrings and bracelets. Peplum and waist belts in leather with studs or big screws will further enhance all the looks.
Creative Director Christian Alexander Beck made a strong, tough and modern, but also feminine and sexy collection for Fall/winter 2017.
Aigner Reset FW17 fashion show was stunning!
Which outfit is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below and have a great evening!
That day was beautiful, filled with love and roses! I spent mine going to shows, with a bit more attention to myself in the evening! It’s the most important thing at the end, especially when it’s Dragobete day (and of course when you are single!)
But anyway I don’t have anything to complain about!
