Why you should spend a day on Jumeirah Beach?…And why to choose Dubai for your winter holiday?
Because Dubai has one ot the most amazing beaches in the world – Jumeirah Beach – that features fine and powdery sand, crystal clear waters and a very calm waterfront.
Situated next to Dubai Marina is one of Dubai’s most popular public beaches and houses a number of prominent landmarks. Some of these landmarks include Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah, Atlantis – The Palm Dubai and Wild Wadi Park. Jumeirah beach draws expats of all nationalities and can get very crowded at weekends. There are also several sections on the beach that are private and owned by resorts and hotels. The Jumeirah Beach is lined with palm trees and is located right in front of the upscale shopping and dining center – The Walk at JBR. Right across there are Jumeirah Beach Residences.
So…How many photos can you handle of me in my bikini?
Probably just as many as we were capable of shooting with a whole beach of onlookers staring at me either completely confused or giggling to themselves. You might have found that I am very excited about the sea and so used to take photos in front of hundreds of people! So…whenever I start to get awkward I simply remind myself :“You’ll more than likely never see these people again”. Make the most of each moment and not get caught up with people judging or laughing. Plus I know everybody find it more hilarious to watch than anything else.
So…here I am on Jumeirah Beach. Excitement ran through my veins like a gilr who first receives her first doll. I have never seen such an unique landscape. From this place I could admire Burj Al-Arab and Atlantis Hotel, the skyscrapers, the palms and make a zilion pictures of the sea’s turquoise color. I simply didn’t want to leave anymore!
For this occasion I decided to wear a colored shirt and my favorite denim shorts. I came prepared with my slippers in my bag also. After I soaked my feet in the water and walked barefooted at the shores, I came back and changed into my blue swimming suit bought the other day from Mall of the Emirates.
I had the best time of my life that day running around the spectacular Jumeirah beach and breaking the waves of the Arabian Sea. It was really my first hot day in Dubai and I enjoyed it so much. I made sure to stroll its almost 2 kilometer stretch just to make sure that I wouldn’t missed the sandcastles. Before I laid my eyes on them, I had my fortune of having my camera flirted with two camels!
The beach it’s 5 minutes walk from Jumeirah Beach Residence on the Walk and it’s a bit overcrowded on Fridays but almost empty on week days.
With panoramic views of the sea and marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence is one of the most desirable places to live. As one of the world’s longest developments, JBR allows residents to live the resort life all year round.
The shopping street is called The Walk. It’s located right next to the buildings and has a lots of good restaurants, shops, fountains, etc. So, you won’t be bored here. There are always lots of people and many beautiful and custom cars like Bentleys, Corvettes, Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, etc. Guess what! They are moving slowly, turning loud music on. They are watching at people gazing at them 🙂 They are so proud of owning a car like that! People often take pictures with the cars and they are so proud and don’t hesitate to go around once again 🙂

No need to bunker down in some Bedouin tent in the middle of the Sahara Desert to get a taste of the ‘Arab World’! I advice you to simply book your Dubai holiday rental apartment on Jumeirah Beach. It’s the city epitome tourist hub and shop! Sun bake your way through this enticing and thrilling world.
