TULUM…Life’s a beach, or so they say in Mexico…
We had originally planned that day to see the ruins and then visit Sian ‘Kaan Biosphere, another place on my list. A change of plans made an unexpected discovery of this paradise called TULUM.
Because it was so hot outside we wanted to swim for a while…So we search for the beach entrance...and then we saw it…Paradise!…miles of white powder sand and the most clear turquoise water…
I am wearing: Zara yellow skirt, white handmade top bought from Cuba and a flower headband.
The beaches are among Mexico’s most beautiful. Miles of unspoiled sugary white sand, lush jungle and blue skies make this an idyllic vacation spot for those who like their luxuries low-key.
Most people think of Tulum for the ruins, not the beach. But I found out this place was named a top beach destination by TripAdvisor readers!
A beach for history buffs?
There is only one way to describe this magical place, which sits just below the amazing ruins of the Mayan city. The crystal blue water, the soft, almost white sand, the crooked palm trees and the beautiful sunsets made Tulum one of my favorite places/beaches on EARTH.
Oh gosh how I miss vacation 🙁
This southern coastline of Riviera Maya remains relatively undeveloped. Tulum offers a relaxed change of pace from the resort cities and it’s a great base to start exploring the area, including the ancient Mayan ruins from Coba. Tulum is also an enchanting place to spend a few nights. The best way to spend your vacation here is to rent a beachfront cabana or check into a boutique palapa hotel located near the ruins.
Tulum beach is an award-winning beach. Playa Paraiso, meaning “Paradise” is truly a piece of heaven and one of the most beautiful on the coastline. TULUM rustic and luxurious beach town is all about good vibes for all the refugees that flock here in the winter season.
Think long, white, powder like sand that stretches on for miles!
One of the things I’ve loved here is the quiet, with remote areas perfect for lovers.
Walking along the coastline we discovered one of the most irreplaceable ultra-romantic beach-club option, called Zebra Beach Club.
If you spend one day or even a few hours in Tulum, experience truly authentic fresh mexican cuisine at Zebra Beach Club it’s a must! For sure you will not leave from this beautiful and quiet place! Laze out on a beach bed, eat fresh ceviche, and enjoy a few cold cocktails…
More about Zebra Beach Club in another post…until then
