Sunday Relax at HAUTE PEPPER

I love special moments that I get to spend during Sunday afternoons at Haute Pepper.

One of my favorite places in Bucharest that I got to experience very often during weekends is the Haute Pepper Restaurant, near Palace of the Parliament. As you may have all seen from my INSTASTORY @alinavlad28 and Facebook ‘Alina Vlad’ two weeks ago, I have been shooting in this newly relaunched and renovated restaurant and terrace, with Head Chef Ionut Gagiu in the kitchen.

Haute Pepper recently updated their menu so I figured I’d give it a try! Come and enjoy a lovely dinner or lunch on the terrace in the city centre.

Many of you have been asking me about my diet, workout, and so on and so forth. Truth be told, I am not the best example of a 100% healthy lifestyle. Every few weeks you’ll see me eating a Hamburger (and I actually mean many hamburgers), chocolate, bread, croissants and Coca Cola. To my deepest regret, my biggest weakness is sugar, and not too far, fresh pastries.

I’ve always envied those people, who are not tempted by sweets or anything fresh bread. Tell me how can I resist the soft bread? Well, maybe you can, but I can’t.

So, let me show you what I have eaten that afternoon at Haute PEPPER restaurant. They had prepared especially for me some of the top picks from the menu and I must say that the quality was very high all the way through. The dishes were all executed beautifully! So I went along with some Haute Pepper bruschetta in the beginning. It came, perfectly cooked and beautifully arranged, so I’ll be honest that was gone within a matter of minutes. Italian is my favourite type of food, so anywhere that can give me dough with toppings is a big thumbs up from me.

I started off my dinner with a big portion of Classic Mussels which absolutely melted in my mouth. It was so good! As for main course I had their Provence Duck Leg and it was one of the best duck dishes I have tasted in a long time. You need to try it if you come here, it was yummy and massive! Duck, green onion, potatoes and coffee sauce.

The dessert I tasted was divine as well, you need to try the Chocolate Volcano with vanilla ice-cream if you ever come here in the future. For a nice change from heavy chocolate you can try a light Cheesecake to end the meal. All in all I can highly recommend you to come here for a lunch or dinner if you ever decide to visit Bucharest in the future.

It will give your tastebuds a wonderful experience!

I left full, but not uncomfortably full, and really enjoyed the evening. Literally being round the corner from where I live, I will undoubtedly visit Haute Pepper Restaurant more often. Now, at least I can look at the pictures and remember how much better this evening was than the one I’m having.

Let me know if you decide to visit this restaurant 🙂
