Feeric Fashion Days in Carolina Citadel

The most important fashion week in Eastern Europe, Feeric Fashion Days 2015 began last weekend in the gorgeous Carolina Citadel in Alba Iulia. There were two amazing days in such a beautiful setting like White Carolina Citadel where fashion people from all major fashion capitals of the world have admired the collections presented at the festival. I was really impressed by the whiteness and grandeur of the Citadel that has been restored by the Municipality of Alba Iulia.

The first evening debuted with Sarah Jessy Jones collection of two Argentines designers Eduardo Perez and Diego de Biase, presented at Principia Museum. It was one of my favorites collections, full of exuberance, color and fantasy, long applauded at the end of the show.

“We are very impressed by this country, we are very happy and we would like to come here next year, also. I think that this event will grow rapidly in the coming years because the places are truly spectacular and Feeric has the potential to become one of the major fashion weeks. The event organisation was perfect! “said the designers.

For the first day of Feeric Festival I wore a floral dress from Mohito, nude stilettos and mini hand-bag from Zara. I thought it was the perfect outfit for a feeric night at Carolina Citadel.

At 9 o’clock the bridge access to Gate 3 soon became to small for the hundreds of people that came to see the five fashion shows of the first Feeric Gala. The host of the event was Dana Savuica and the evening opened with Gianni Tolentino collection, followed by Mihaela Cirlugea, Yulia Manciulea, Haute Future Fashion Academy and a special lingerie fashion show by famous Parisian brand Lise Charmel.

“This year was much higher agitation but otherwise the experience was very nice. It’s worth waiting a year for these days,”said Yulia Manciulea at the end of the show of her latest collection. “We were first invited to Feeric Fashion Days through our partner in New York, FTL Moda. Our company has existed for 33 years and our designs are moving towards quality, for style. We are very excited to be here,”says the two representatives of the brand Gianni Tolentino.

The last day of Feeric Festival in Alba Iulia started in an ancient Roman Garden where Gianni Tolentino presented a collection inspired by the Renaissance period, staged by the creative director Pablo Patan. “We felt very comfortable here. We are going back to Italy with excellent impressions from Feeric Fashion Days. Everything is wonderful here in Alba Iulia. We want to thank the festival organizing team and our partner, FTL Moda, for the invitation at this fabulous festival, “says the two representatives of the brand Gianni Tolentino.
Dana Savuica opened after 21 o’clock, the evening gala festival in Alba Iulia, at Citadel Gate 3. The first fashion show of the evening belonged to a “local”, Andreea Oanţă, handbags designer behind the brand CaResta Bags. Anda and Ane Feher continued with the latest collection Concepto. From Haute Future Fashion Academy Milano, Andrea Zanatelli presented an unusual and unique collection for Feeric Fashion Days, that used many unconventional materials. The evening ended with the famous Paola Balzano fashion show, a London fashion designer.

“I’m half Italian half Taiwanese. So we can say about me that East meets West, which is found in all my designs. I am very happy to be here, I appreciate the opportunity to present my collection in Romania, “said Paola at the end of another Feeric evening.

It was my first time in Alba Iulia and I’m very proud to be official blogger at Feeric Fashion Days. Alba Iulia is a representative historic town for Romania and creating a tradition with a Fashion Festival here, will be beneficial for both the city and the festival. The atmosphere was excellent and the organisation was perfect. Feeric Fashion Days Alba Iulia is an event organized by Mitichi Foundation in collaboration with City Hall Alba Iulia. The festival grows every year and I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful Fashion Week.

On the second day of Feeric Fashion Days I preferred a classical approach, a White Shirt dress from Poelle, accessorized with Zara sandals and Meli Melo clutch.

The most important Fashion Week in Eastern Europe, Feeric Fashion Days, continues tomorrow in Sibiu.
See you there!
