Confessions of a Shopaholic

Hello everybody!

I’m AlinaFashion victim, addicted Shopaholic,

life lover & traveler!

I was born in Bucharest, Romania on August 28. I’m a veritable perfectionist virgo, with a great strength in my practicality, sharp mind and attention to detail. Sophisticated and cool I can say that my Fashion style reflects my personality. Described by many friends as “Fashion maniac“, “Diva” and “Femme Fatale“, I’m currently working in a bank financial department and I’m an avid collector of Fashion items and shoes. And I love traveling more than anything in the world.

Many of you probably haven’t read my ABOUT page where I introduce myself, so I thought it’s time to explain you Who am I and what means to me this Fashion & Travel Website !

B is for believe! Believe in yourself!

I know it may seem hard to find success in whatever you want to do, especially if you have everybody telling you don’t do this, don’t do that. To be completely honest, no one will ever believe in you more than you will! For sure your family loves you and of course they believe in you! But they don’t want to see you fail so they rather tell you to stick to something “safe”!

I say, forget that.. dream BIGGER and go HARDER, even if it’s something in your wildest dreams! Everything is possible.. just take a little time, patience, willing, hard work, passion and dedication. If you’ve always dreamed of doing something with passion or if you want to start a new business you must do it! What I’m trying to say here is that.. no matter what you want to do, there’s always a way! You gotta want it more than the next person! If not, they will take it from you! Life is about taking chances, not about having them slip away. Do not fear the unknown, embrace it! Often times, we get caught up in our fears and doubts. But, failing is what makes us grow. We don’t realize the potential each day has. Each day is limitless. The possibilities are infinite. When you wake up, you have the choice on how you’re going to look at your day, how you’re going to take on your day. Each day is yours to create your future. Put your fear of failing away and look to tomorrow for an opportunity to reach your dreams.

DREAMS DON’T WORK UNLESS YOU DO

Remember, if you Dream, then you gotta Believe! And if you believe you will Achieve!

New years resolutions are all about working out the things we need to do to be happier! What will make us more present, more content, more understanding, more contributing? Although it’s tempting to focus on the physical in terms of what we want to look like or have in our closet, over time I’ve come to see that planning the year ahead is more about the things you do rather than the things you have. I guess that’s why from the beginning of this year, more than ever, I decided to focus much more on doing what I really love.

I’m so happy I started this blog, that lately I’m just thinking how to make it more interesting and how to achieve more followers! I’m working on it day and night and I confess that is the most important thing in my life right now! Two major factors that contributes to being able to do what you love is working hard and always looking at new ways to approach what you did. This is my way of thinking and starting 5 months ago I’m working harder to achieve what I want and to fulfill my dream! Maybe for many of you it may be easy and fun, but it’s not always like it seems…It’s hard working in front of the computer for hours (I don’t know when I had a full night sleep). It means daily researching and getting informed about trends and way of styling. It means hours of posing to get the most beautiful photos. It means lots of money invested in clothes and accessories. It means hours lost for processing and editing those photos, etc…

From my perspective I couldn’t agree more that working hard is a major factor in moving forward towards your ‘dream’ or aspiration. It’s one thing to want to do something, it’s another entirely to go out and make it happen – or at least try. The best thing about doing something you love is that hard work doesn’t feel so much like hard work!

For many years I have uploaded so many photos on Facebook that my friends were tired of me. So at this point I’m happy that now I have my own space where I can share insights of what I love. I love to take pictures wherever I go. I love Fashion and to be fashionable. I love to travel and discover the world and I hope that I will do it till I die.

Shopaholic Life

is a way to show you my personal style, revisiting all the new trends according to my personal taste,to share with you my shopping addiction and confess my journeys around the world and my stories of everyday life.

Fashion has always been one of my greatest passions and I think it was a great idea to combine this two major interests of mine and create a blog where to find inspiration and ideas for your outfits. To collect travel tips and advices for your next adventures. I think it’s very important to plan your vacation, to know where you must go and what you must see & do, to know where to eat and where to stay, etc.

It’s very important to be informed about new destinations, new Shopping places, new experiences…For me is all I need in this life! I love to travel more than anything in this world…I have to admit that I love it even more than Shopping! It’s my second nature and in the last years I have tried to do it as often as possible. I can say I was so lucky that my last 2 years were full of travels.

So I have lots of stories to tell you and lots of pictures to show you.

I always had a crush on the world of fashion and style and I’m an addicted Shopaholic – the only way to happiness for me! When things get tough, I’m SHOPPING! And not a day goes by without buying just a little thing….

Addiction – by Oxford dictionary is the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity. According to my own dictionary it’s a way of life. I love lots of things, care for hundreds and love too many sometimes. But like every human being on Earth I have some impossible to heal addictions:

Travel & Shopping!

Everybody wants their life to be like Chiara Ferragni’s or Anna dello Russo’s. Who wouldn’t? I have to admit it!  I’m addicted to Fashion and Shopping! And because I understand that sometimes this passion for Fashion can become pretty uncontrollable and pricey I wanted not only to show how to spend money to be fashionable! I want with all my heart to inspire every women to be confident, to feel free of judgements and Fashion, to focus on the positive parts of life and on affordable style, on manners rather than coolness, on their power assets not on their flaws, on attitude rather than the physical aspect.

I realized these days that the quickest way to get to know a woman and her style is to go Shopping with her! So if you need someone to help you find the most fabulous outfit or if you just want a friend to go Shopping with you or shop instead of you contact me – I can be your Personal Shopper! I never refuse a Shopping session!

On this occasion I confess that I have already started to work as a Personal Shopper.

Those who say money can’t buy happiness; they simply don’t know the right shops!

So run wild, go Shopping and stop taking life too seriously. Life is more FUN when you don’t take it so seriously, so you know what you have to do. Kid around more, lady! We are way too serious sometimes, turning everyday situations into problems, constantly on the lookout to complain about anything and worrying about a bunch of things that simply don’t matter.

Yes, sometimes it seems I find life so easy. It seems I glide effortlessly upwards and onwards, always doing the right things whatever the situation. People tell me I always seem happy, content and ready to roll with life’s punches and they ask the key of my everyday smile. Well there’s no key, no guide, no rules, ladies! Just learn to shrug off adversity more easily and be happier, calmer and become a positive person.

That’s it! Keep calm and enjoy my blog & photos!

I can’t wait to hear your opinions and impressions about my website – www.alinavlad.com!

Sometimes there’s only one way to happiness and we call it shopping. This month we recommend you Patrizia Pepe Boutique from Baneasa Shopping City, 1st floor (reservation number 0040.749.263.517). Coats and jackets, dresses and jumpsuits, necklaces and clutches, trousers and jeans, shoes and accesories, here you will find everything you want and everything you need. – See more at:
We all know the laws of shopping: If you like it, they don’t have it in your size. If you like it and it fits, you can’t afford it. If you like it, it fits and you can afford it, it falls apart the first time you wear it. If the shoe fits, its ugly.
But Patrizia Pepe breaks the laws and every time you go in a PP boutique the world gets better and the day brighter. And no, we are not joking! Just try it! Now you have one more reason to do it and we all call it SALES. From 30% to 50% whether you want a glamorous dress or a fluffy sweater this is the place to be! So run wild, go shopping and stop taking life too seriously.  Kid around more, lady! We are way too serious sometimes, turning everyday situations into problems, constantly on the lookout to complain about anything and worrying about a bunch of things that simply don’t matter. Life is more FUN when you don’t take it so seriously, so you know what you have to do.
