On 23rd of July, Chaboo Club & Pool held the first edition of C Fashion Gala Summer Edition, an event dedicated to Romanian designers organized by Alin Galatescu, already known for Avanpremiere Gala and the most appreciated fashion analyst in Romania. I was delighted to be invited as media partner of this fashion event. That night I opted for a greek white look wearing a backless white silk dress.
I want to thank this way to my talented friend Camelia Nastu for her support and the most beautiful make-up and hair styling. Love u!
During the show we’ve seen established Romanian designers presenting their collections, as well as designers who are just starting out their career, like Aleha Toncea. On a special catwalk arranged in the center of the pool were presented the collections signed by Simona Semen, Norina Stoica, Roxana Butnaru, Marie Ollie, Loulou and Rita Muresan. C Fashion Gala Summer Edition was hosted by Cosmina Pasarin, who declared that she is an admirer and follower of Romanian fashion.
Aleha Toncea, who became a mother for the second time just two days before the Fashion Gala, was the first designer who presented her summer collection that night. Loose outfits, both dresses and pants were characterized by color, joy and vibration.
Sylvia and Claudia Pavel were among the models who wore her designs, as a surprise of the fashion show.
The next collection presented was a resort collection by Simona Semen, characterized by pastel colors like white, pink or lilac. As materials predominated cotton, jacquard, silk and lace. This time, Simona wanted to push her limits and expose more daring outfits defined by transparency and deep necklines but with the same femininity and sophistication.
The highlight of the fashion show was beautiful Alina Puscau who came especially from New York for the Fashion Gala to support her friend.
Norina Stoica has presented an exclusive collection of summer silk dresses that called it in one word,“Sun”, inspired as always by music. The colors used were yellow, cream, red, marsala and also white, always present in her collections.
Angel by Roxana Butnaru
Roxana Butnaru presented her Angel collection, made entirely of silk veil that was emphasized by stones and beads, handmade special accessories. The basic colors were white, powder pink and red, colors that she assigned to the soul, love and women.
Marie Ollie by Arthur Dinu
My favorite collection from the Gala was, of course, the one of Arthur Dinu, the designer behind the brand Marie Ollie. A transition collection composed of dresses, pants and overalls and defined by simple lines, shades of gold and silver and particular combinations of textures, like silk and satin.
His creations are for discreet and refined women, who wants also to get out of anonymity wearing a special outfit.
Loulou by Andra Turcanu
Andra Turcanu, the young fashion designer behind the brand Loulou, presented her Spring/Summer 2016 collection, defined by pastel colors and geometric cuts. Andra told us it was a challenge to use this type of cut and admitted that, along with Emilia Tudoran and Iulia Ghenea, had to spend many days in the library to learn about this. I think she really did a great job and I want to congratulate her for such a beautiful collection. It was one of my favorites!
Magic by Rita Muresan
Rita Muresan ended apotheotic the Fashion Gala with her newest Magic collection. The famous fashion designer convinced her models to jump into the pool after the fashion show wearing her dresses, to the delight of the audience. Rita Muresan presented a collection inspired by and dedicated to nature, defined by highly colored and loose dresses and made entirely of silk and silk veil.
