How to smile every day?

We’ve all heard about the importance of smiling each and every day. You know how they say : “A smile a day, keeps the doctor away!”

It’s been a year since I created this blog and I’m still Smiling every day! Yes it is definitely a great feeling when you accomplish something yourself and still brings you so much joy into your everyday life.

I have finally realized that our happiness depends upon our dispositions and not upon our circumstances! We often convince ourselves that we cannot change, that we cannot overcome the circumstances of our lives! That is simply not true!

We are blessed with immeasurable power to make positive changes in our lives!

Shopaholica Life was the biggest change that I’ve made in my life…and since then I Smile every day!

In fact, even a forced smile can have a positive impact on a person’s mood…But you don’t have to force a smile every day to put yourself in a good mood. There are things you can do that will both create a natural smile and improve your life.

Here are 5 great reasons to make yourself Smile every day.

1. You should never let go of the passions that inspire you and always smile on you

These passions will lead you to reach your fullest potential. Hold on to them and they will keep you honest, caring, kind and generous. Go forward with your shoulders back and head high and Smile every day!

With an enthusiastic spirit, perseverance and integrity of character, you can put your intelligence, talents and passion into action!

Never let setbacks excuse you from trying again. It often takes many attempts to be a success.

So how can you smile every day? It’s simple really.

2.  Be grateful for everything in your life.

It’s amazing what positive effects we experience once we begin to say, “Thank you!” for everything.

Thanks for the gift of life. Thanks for a delicious meal. Thanks for the smile of a stranger.

But the weird and powerful change I invite you to make is this:

Give thanks for even the seemingly negative things that come into your life.

Illness, pain and loss are some of the most powerful teachers we have available. They reflect back to us the ways in which we need to grow. They show us the power that’s within us.

And they show us that life is incredibly precious.

So…Smile every day and Be grateful!

3. Write down your blessings.

Thousands of great things happen to us every day but we only seem to remember a few. Our brains are wired sometimes to remember most of the dull, unfortunate, or painful things that happen to us.

That’s not our fault! But we can overcome it.

That’s why it can be so helpful to keep a notebook to write down all the great things that happen to you every day. Like I’m doing it. Shopaholica Life is my way of keeping down my greatest achievements, my memories and the things that made me Smile every day.

Every time I’m feeling down I can reflect on it and Smile again. Even on your lowest days, great things happened to you and blessed you.

Don’t forget them!

4.  Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others.

Be too big for worry and too noble for anger. Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something special in them. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

Forget the past mistakes and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

Give a Smile every day!

5. Look at what is, not what isn’t.

Every time I look around, I think, “Wow, I’ve got an amazing life.”

But I don’t have a lot. And yet, I live the happiest life imaginable because I’m looking at what is, not what isn’t.

Very often we get caught up in worries about the future, giving substance to our negative thoughts.

We think, “If only I had a bit more money to pay the bills.” “If only I didn’t have to worry about these aches and pains.” “If only I had a little more time to spend with my family.”

Life isn’t the fantasies you have in your head! It’s what’s happening right now! All the great things around you are yours. The sunshine hitting your face.

The exhilaration of going for a run and feeling your blood rush about in your marvellous arms and legs.

That’s all for you. And it makes me you smile every day.

And the only way to be cool is to be who you truly are!

The only way to live life is to do the things that you want to do and be the person that you want to be! That’s the only way you can be genuinely happy and Smile every day!

Follow what you are genuinely passionate about and let that guide you to your destination. These days, everyone wants a formula. They want this, they want that, yaa yaa yaa. People today have their list of demands and they miss connections…they miss empathy!
